The rpt.conf file is used to configure Jim Dixon’s newest project, Jim’s Radio Repeater Application (app_rpt), allows Asterisk to communicate using VoIP via radio repeater technology. This allows people to efficiently provide large-area coverage of wireless networking and routing information to the amateur radio public through their local high-speed Internet connections.
